Dustin Sees Red... State!

So $140 later (two tickets for the wife and myself), I have seen Red State and listened to director Kevin Smith rehash everything he tweeted in the last few months.¬† I love the guy to death but unless he’s with a film next year, I’ll be skipping out on what has become a yearly Q/A.¬† [...]

Sleeper Cell: Southland Tales (2006)

This is the way the world ends. Not with a whimper but a bang. There’s no right place to begin with Southland Tales. The movie is Richard Kelly’s follow up to his cult hit Donnie Darko. In short … ok. There is no¬†short version. The story is pretty ridiculously complicated. But the plot? We can [...]

A Evening with Kevin Smith in Austin, Texas 3-4-2010

I don’t know how he does it, but the man can talk for hours (three and a half to be exact) and it’s never boring. Kevin Smith has been known for his question and answer sessions for the better part of a decade now. With the release of three DVD sets covering a collection of [...]

Cop Out

I’ll be eating a heaping helping of crow after this… I’ve been a big supporter of this movie since I had first heard of it being in production. ¬†I even liked the trailer that everyone loathed. ¬†The fact of the matter is I’m a huge, unapologetic Kevin Smith fan. ¬†The dude is a total geek, [...]

Breachtube: Kevin Smith's DVD Commercial

Cop Out releases today and in lieu of a review, we’re running this great commercial that Smith did in the early 2000s for DVD recorders. Although the product being slung here, a home theater DVD recorder, was obsolete before it was even out of the gate, this commercial would have sold me. Check it out after the jump.

Breachcast XXVIII

This week we discuss Kevin Smith’s choice for Hit Somebody, Die Hard 5, The Ghost Writer, Crazy Heart, Shutter Island, Lost, Butch Walker, and Plants v. Zombies.

Trailer: Cop Out (aka A Couple of Dicks)

Here is the trailer for the new Kevin Smith movie, Cop Out. You may know it as A Couple of Dicks but Warner Bros. was forced to change the title when the TV stations refused to run ads before 9pm. It seems a little over commercial but I’m willing to bet it will rule. It’s Kevin Smith after all right? Hit the jump and check it out.
