Thanks to Tees For All, we have a great new contest just in time for the release of Iron Man 2 tomorrow! Or tonight if you’re going to midnight screenings. We’re giving away the following shirt to the lucky reader who emails us!
The shirt will come in an XL size and will ship, free of charge to the winner. As per usual, all that we ask is for you to send us an email using the after the break and you’ll be automatically entered. On Friday around 5pm central, we’ll close out the contest and randomly choose a winner. Good luck and thanks for reading Media Breach!

Ok, I guess I get to be the bad guy on this one. Iron Man 2 is terrible. Serously. Terrible. Ok ok. I like the … the race scene I guess. So instead of saying it was bad (I’ll backpedal here a little and say that the movie isn’t terrible in the entire negatively-associated sense of the word – [...]

I’m not going to go so far as to say that you’ll love Iron Man 2. I don’t know you. That’s even considering that whoever might be reading this is more than likely a nerd. There are many kinds of nerds out there and some just don’t dig comic books or the movies that are birthed from them. Hey, I can’t fucking stand card games like Magic. See? Different classes of nerds. With most of the reviews from people who get paid to do what I’m doing saying that this movie is “so-so” and folks who have similar tastes to us here at Media Breach saying this is a “smoldering load of goodness you want in your face”, I can understand how one would be conflicted about the actually quality of this film. I’ve let my initial reaction to this movie die down to try and figure out exactly why anybody wouldn’t like this film or flat out not love it and I think I figured out why.

That’s right, haters, I loved it. Loved, loved, loved, Iron Man 2. As soon as the opening credits started being displayed, I knew it would rule. This is the kind of summer/sequel/comic book movie I love to see. There’s mounds of payoff, call backs to the first film (which I had the pleasure of seeing in the theater again just before the midnight screening of IM2), way more laughs than I expected, and just some all around great action littered with fanboy moments. I know a lot of people said the same thing in May 2008, but the rest of the films releasing this summer are on notice; the bar has been set so good luck.

It’s going to be a slow week here at the Breach. I figured I would write this review to warn you about this one since the deluge of holiday films are in full effect.
There’s an expression that goes a little something like this- I’d rather drive a nail through my dick than watch (insert terrible [...]

To give you an idea of the effort that went into making this movie, during the post-screening Q/A it was mentioned that Paul Rudd had a diva-esque demand before signing on- the vomit had to look real.
I Love You, Man follows the story of Los Angeles based real estate agent Peter Klaven (Rudd) who [...]
