I figure if I just wear a fedora with a “PRESS” card in the band, I can get into at least a few screenings. Right? Until then, I’ve found a better media center for to steal my news. No noisy kids or students. No chess clubs or parental invasions. Just a hot asiago pretzel and iced white mocha. Extra shot. Light ice. And a window seat with a sill. And wifely company. Exactly how theft should be.
This week we talk about Zombieland 2, True Lies TV show, the Tekken movie is released in 2011, Kevin Pollack is up for Red State, Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D, Terriers, Louie, Rubicon, and Mad Men.
It looks like we’re all agreeing that James Cameron (<– click for the full story) should just be handed the keys to outer space. Along with Richard Branson. It just feels like if the two could just get together in the same Florida resort, they could work out how to save the NASA shuttle program. [...]
Figured I would repost this so we could discuss the Oscars. The winners are all fine in my mind but the show itself was a bit of a mess. That strange acceptance speech interruption for the Documentary Short winner, the complete lack of Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin after having to endure those cheesy commercials, and a bunch of strange sounds off stage throughout all combined to make a bizarre show. But enough with that, here are the winners.

I know you’re probably tired of this Avatar stuff, but I watched this 22 minute segment and came across pretty impressed. Although, the parts with Giovanni Ribisi exclaiming “the story was so original” may elicit a few chuckles from you. Check it out after the jump and let us know what you think.

I’m sure you’ve heard a lot about how long it took and the struggles James Cameron faced in order to complete Avatar.¬† The amazing and groundbreaking equipment and technology that made this movie possible, while incredible, is really just secondary to what actually lifts Avatar from the page to the screen: James Cameron’s enormous balls.¬† [...]
Other than the 60 Minutes fact checkers taking a nap while writing this intro, (Titanic is not the most profitable movie ever made but rather the highest grossing) this is a pretty cool look at Avatar and Mr. Cameron. Check it out after the break!
