I allegedly like movies; I like games. Things that will destroy my productivity for spring/summer 2012 in gaming are Dragon's Dogma (PS3), The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition (360), The Last Story (Wii), Prey 2 (for whatever, just release it, please). Movies that will fill the void between games include The Avengers, Prometheus, Brave, Moonrise Kingdom, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, The Amazing Spider-man, The Dark Knight Rises, Premium Rush (fuck you, cycling is dangerous)

Trailer #2: The Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword

Boom: There’s a current dialogue going on in my head that’ll best sum up my feelings about this game: Positive Me: “Hey, wow!¬† This is looks like Wind Waker and Twilight Princess made a sweet fun baby!” Negative Me: “Pfft.¬† Yeah and like any baby from a royal family, of games in this instance, it’ll [...]

You're Such a Teaser: Cartoon Network's Thundercats Remake

All 4 of you who follow the site undoubtedly know of my profane love for most anything Transformers but I can freely admit that the original show (“Generation 1″ or “G1″ as it’s known in fandom) hasn’t aged very well and anyway, that appreciation has always more centered around the toys. That’s not the case [...]

Nintendo & Ubisoft get your relationship swinging with 'We Dare'

In the “I’ll buy this because it’s tasteless and stupid” department, we can now include this thing. From the hilarious trailer, We Dare appears to be an assortment of Wii Sports-ish games designed to help you feel nothing but regret the next sobered up morning or a sudden need to embrace of the old school [...]

Predator: The Musical

So Arnie’s been scrounging for acting jobs recently and I’m pretty sure that if he took this on for real, it couldn’t be any worse than Spider-man: Turn On Your Heart Light or whatever it’s called. Frankly, this is so good it hurts and I demand all of you watch it and sing along with [...]

So this is a thing: FortressCraft

Saying “they say ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’” is my meta statement of the day. But from what I can tell from this trailer of this upcoming Xbox Live Indie Game, the creators of FortressCraft are skipping imitation and going straight to rip off territory and part of me can’t find it in [...]

Fan-made Minecraft Commercial is disturbing & well made

I think the only thing this is missing is a blunt “SEGA!” at the end of it. Digg Stumble Upon Del.icio.us Buzz

Trailer: Thor (a trailer that doesn't suck!)

I feel much better about this whole project now. We finally have a trailer that manages to capture the scope that Kenneth Branagh is probably going for. The Destroyer’s model details look to have been tightened up and we get to see the lighter side of Thor. Check it: Pretty sweet, right? That’s how I’m [...]

Portal: Still Alive (Xbox 360's XBLA, 2008)

Gamers have a lot of defense mechanisms when it comes to dealing with the fact that they can’t play certain games for whatever reason. A chief reason a gamer might not be able to play a game they might remotely be interested in is that the game has some kind of console exclusivity in which [...]

You're such a Teaser: Unnamed Kirby Game for the Wii in 2011

Damn Nintendo, calm down! Actually…don’t. It hasn’t even been a year since Kirby’s Epic Yarn and they’ve already announced a new Kirby game for the Wii. Check out this trailer: I don’t know about you but that is some hot shit. Epic Yarn’s look was adorable as a duck in hat but I think it’s [...]

Red Band Trailer: No Strings Attached

So I laughed at this…unexpectedly, that is. [via Film School Rejects] And might I just add that no girl has ever been hotter wearing 3D glasses than Natalie Portman. Digg Stumble Upon Del.icio.us Buzz

Review: Pac-Man Champion Edition DX

With all the black operations, modern takes on warfare, and gods waring over shit like vengeance these days, it can be hard to remember that video games were once just games. No moral choices, no parents hanging over their kid’s shoulder questioning the amount of blood spewing out of bifurcated hooker, just yellow hockey puck [...]

Teaser Trailer: Transformers: The Dark of the Moon

Goddamn you Michael Bay. Not because you’ve turned the Transformers into the equivalent of slow motion action sequence robot zombies, ready to be blown up at a whim, devoid of any character they’ve developed over the past 25 + years of the franchise’s existence but because – even after the cinematic proof that your take [...]

Review: Skyline

A lot introductory paragraphs for movie reviews like to prance around the gist of what’s going to be said in order to get you to read the whole review. “So does Jaws leave you with a case TMJ? Dive in to find out!” “Will Schindler’s List make it on your list of must see movies [...]

Trailer: Cowboys & Aliens

I haven’t been following this at all. It sounds fun and all and the trailer seems to confirm that but also adds degree of seriousness I hadn’t expected. At least we know what a cowboy James Bond would look like. Oh and we also know that Olivia Wilde is going to be topless…and that Harrison [...]
