Trailer: The Illusionist

The new animated feature from the director of Belleville Rendezvous (The Triplets of Belleville), Sylvain Chomet. This looks amazing early, and will no doubt make us all forget about Eddie Norton’s disappointing magic man movie. Old man magician movies have some kind of charm – see also The Great Buck Howard. You might have to make a trip to an indie theater, and really, I’m hoping i can catch a version with French audio, but it should be worth the effort.
