Breachcast XXII

Congrats on your one year anniversary! You guys were in top form this breachcast and I'm pretty sure people at work think I'm insane for seemingly laughing at nothing.

Yeah, NBC's fucked up big time and I really don't see how they're gonna recover if what they say is going down goes down. I feel bad for both Jay and Conan but Conan will recover at lot faster than Jay will. His fans will follow him almost anywhere and they're better connected to what's going on. Leno's generation of fans probably won't realize his back in late until a month after he starts again. The only really good thing that I've seen come out of this is that it proves nobody gives a shit about Jimmy Kimmel, proving that not everything is wrong in the universe.

The thing about this Avatards (pat on the back for that one) that pisses me off is that…goddammit…they'll sit there and bitch about how they wish they could be like the Na'vi, communing and being close to nature, feeling sad after they leave the theatre. I'd bet you that not a single one of them has never taken a fucking walk around their goddamn block let alone actually check out real nature that 's all around them. “I'm sad after that movie. I'll go blog about it on my computer instead of taking a walk in the park.” Fuck. Off. You don't like the world you live in because it's not the fictional world of Pandora? Make the world a better place, plant a garden or join a conservationist society or something. Hell, even if you don't want to put forth that much effort and are only concerned with superficial aspects of the film, do like Adam said, paint yourself blue and bone each other at Comicon. And to top it all off, the movie's story was so meh, I don't see how anybody could've gotten THAT into it so that all the emotional weight they're feeling even exists. It's like being sad because you can't go to Jurassic Park and be a dinosaur. *sigh* Grow up.

I skipped y'alls Dollhouse segment as I don't watch it. Not for lack of wanting to but because I didn't want to get into another Fox produced Joss Whedon show for fear they'd pull the plug at an inopportune time. Lo' and behold. What happened to Firefly is a crime and I almost wish I hadn't watched that show.

I think that's it. Once more, congrats on turning 1. I happened upon this site through Brandy and yes, I automatically thought it was a cool site so you must be doing something right.

Edit: I just read the plot for Dear John. Please let me review it.
